Last night Record of Lodoss War: Chronicle of the Heroic Knight came to its final end. Next week Crystal Blaze will commence to begin.

Sports based, veg-themed magical girl show Getsumen to Heiki Miina ended this evening and will be replaced in our schedule, if not in our hearts, by fox spirit based shinto using fantasy comic-drama Wagaya no Oinari-sama.

This week we ended Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu in preparation for next week’s start of Getsumen to Heiki Mina.

Another year over and a new one just begun.

On Tuesday at 7pm The Basingstoke Anime Society will resume with three new series Record of Lodoss War, Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu and Gintama.

We look forward to seeing you there, whether you are an established regular, an anime fan who has yet to join us or just an interested outsider who wants to observe anime fans in their (un)natural habitat.

Hatenkou Yugi joined the ranks of completed series this week.

There will be no more meetings this year. We will return with a whole new line up on 6th January 2009.

You could be forgiven for thinking that we only post news when a series ends. On that note tonight saw the end of Sky Girls and Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku wo! Next week these will be replaced by one off episodes Pale Cocoon and Happy World.

This week we brought Gokusen to a successful conclusion. Next week will see the start of Hatenkou Yugi.

Yet another completed series Bamboo Blade exits to make room for Gokusen.

Another week another finished series. Hime-sama Goyoujin is finished, bringing joy to some and sorrow to others. Next week the final slot will be taken by Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku wo!

Tonight another series ended. Next week Ghost Hound will be replaced by Sky Girls.
