Car Parks And Other Trivia
The Christmas car park opposite the Castle is due to open at the start of next week, offering a more convenient parking alternative for those of you who drive to anime society. I will add a comment to this post when I have confirmed it’s opening and can check the cost (if any) of parking there.
On a side note, several of you have noticed that Paradise Kiss will be ending this coming week and from 7 November we will replace it with Scrapped Princess. However the time will come when the other series will need replacing, so feel free to suggest the sort of series you wish to see in the future.

It appears as if the car park is now open (or at least there was a vehicle parked there at lunchtime) the cost is 60p for an hour and free after 7pm

YouTube is a bit like that. If you want to get AMVs properly, the best place is AnimeMusicVideos.org.
I think I remember seeing Asuka the Black Knight ages ago - the “I’m invincible!” one?

sorry, I have no idea where else to post this xD; but…
Are new members allowed anytime? I just saw a leaflet for this in HMV (I was buying Ghost in the Shell…) and it sounds fun.

Of course you’re welcome!
It’s good to know the leaflets are stuff useful.
Don’t worry too much about joining series half-way through: one of our series has just finished, so we’re about to start watching something new.

Members is a bit of strong term. It’s more of a loose association of like minded indviduals so new people are always welcome.
It should be easy to find an otaku or two who will happily provide plot summaries for anything you’ve missed.

In case people were wondering, we do tend to prepare the playlists for the society a few weeks in advance, and make desisions a few weeks before that. So make any suggestions now and we’ll have time to evaluate them by December.

Is there a topic where we can post to just chat I would like to know if people have any recommendations of what I could watch next. Anything slightly obscure or unheard of would be good I recently watched Angels egg by Mamoru Oshii which I really liked, it has hardly any dialogue at all. Jin Roh: The Wolf Brigade I really liked if your into more serious anime. If you liked Memories I suggest getting Neo-Tokyo and robot carnival I would love to hear from others who have seen any of this and there opinions aswell as recommendations they have.

I relatively unheard one I like is called Fate/stay Night, it’s based on a H-game but doesn’t have any hentai in it. AIR and Kanon are good ones of the same genre too

i found out about you guys by luck, went in the small waterstones on a whim and saw your leaflet, i don’t know anyone that is into anime so it will be nice to meet some other people that are into it. an obscure anime hum there are a lot that get released i America that never make it over here, how about battle athletes, black heaven, or utena but the reason they didn’t get a UK release maybe because there no good i haven’t seen them so i cant comment, your best bet might be x TV or patlabour TV or a very good anime called ginban kaleidoscope oh i don’t know there are to many to choose ( falls on the floor with brain strain)
